Yeli Kordich is an Israel-born, Miami-raised graphic designer whose passion for art and music has influenced her creative work.
In December 2022, Yeli completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Design and a minor in Art History from Florida International University.
As a long-time member of the Miami creative community and live-music scene, Yeli's college years were a formative period in developing her relationship with art and design.
Music has always inspired Yeli, driving her Senior thesis, Sound & Color, to further examine the connection between music and design work. By creating a powerful and visually stimulating representation of improvisational Jazz music, the project seeks to evoke strong emotional reactions in people and initiate a dynamic exploration of their combined impact.
In her professional pursuits, in May 2022, Yeli began working at WOOO! Social, a tech startup, as a Graphic Designer, was promoted to lead UX/UI Designer for the company shortly after. In these roles, Yeli hyper-focused on UX/UI, wireframing, storyboarding, and prototyping expertise.
Yeli has since continued to explore the intersection of music and design in her professional work, taking on a variety of musician-based clientele and creating posters, album covers, and promotional materials to capture the essence of their sound.
Yeli characterizes the aesthetic of her work using bold, vibrant colors and sleek, clean-cut modern typography. Her technical expertise includes Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Procreate, and she continues experimenting with new design techniques and technologies to push the boundaries of her work.
In her free time, Yeli can be found attending live music events and exploring Miami's music and creative scenes for new inspiration.
